To promote awareness and appreciation of the refuge, the Friends of the Loxahatchee Refuge is sponsoring its 27th Annual Photography Contest. Over $1,800 (US) will be given out in prizes for 7 categories and for a Grand Prize winner.

Entries will be accepted from Saturday, December 5, 2009 to Sunday, February 28, 2010.
